READING PARTNERS
Our Reading Partner program provides k-2nd grade students one on one time to improve their reading skills, comprehension, vocabulary and confidence. Parents or community members volunteers meet with the same student for 30 minutes once a week all year.

TEACHER APPRECIATION
We love our teachers and staff at Southside! Our dedicated volunteers pick up and serve a monthly lunch for different staff/teacher groups and plan a very special week in the end of the year to spoil those that take such good care of our kiddos!

The more memories the better! Our Southside staff member Christen Ralich has volunteered to help out with our always fantastic yearbook this year. Please look for updates from her as he seeks photographs from special events throughout the year!

STEAM NIGHT
Think cool and fun projects and all things tech ! Ice cream made with cold nitrogen, different plants under a microscope, and so much more! Students and families will enjoy an interactive evening of science and technology based stations!

Social media & our website are huge parts of how we do outreach for Southside PTO! Instagram and Facebook posts and managing content and posting is an important tool to help us inform parents and teachers about the comings and goings!

How do you Go Gold®? It’s easy – any way you want! Southside raises money for this Children's Cancer organization by calling on families to bring in their loose change- and WEAR GOLD of course!
